We’re thrilled to announce that Richard Charles Louys III, known as Richie, has joined The Nelson Paint Company as our new Assistant Vice President.

Richie brings five years of engineering experience, having previously worked with ASI, Mountain Engineering, and even beginning his early career here at Nelson Paint. He holds a master’s degree in chemical engineering and has specialized expertise in chemical processes, programming, and advanced chemical handling.

In his new role, Richie will oversee production operations, ensure safety compliance, and contribute his technical knowledge to support innovative product development.

A Dickinson County native, Richie is excited to return to his hometown roots and help both the company and the local community thrive. Outside of work, he enjoys reading, gaming, and spending time with his two dogs, Bentley and Princess. Fun fact: Richie is also a certified SCUBA diver!
